The deepest alpine lake in :flagus: at 1,645 ft.
This is Fannette Island, the only island there is at Lake Tahoe.


It has the most amazing smell, (if you love the smell of cedar like I do) that I know. Intoxicating.
If you ever have the chance to go, do so. It is really a phenomenal sight.

Yeah it is really lovely. I live about 35 minutes from Lake Tahoe. You can be where it is 30 feet deep and still see the bottom. Amazing.
